Movie Review: The Vow

This Valentines, learn the true meaning of love that can go beyond challenges in the upcoming 2012 romance drama film, The Vow.

Written and directed by Michael Sucsy, The Vow is a Screen Gems project which is based on a true story about a young woman who loses all her recent memory after a tragic car accident and struggles to rebuild her own identity while her husband tries to win her heart for the second time around. This is really a tragic story as you can see how hard it is for the man to accept the fact that the woman he loves is confused over her love for him because she is not sure if she would believe everything that the man says. The story where this love story was based happened was inspired by the couple Kim and Krickitt Carpenter and it happened in the year 1993.

They were just two months married when the tragedy happened. The couple’s car was hit from behind by a fast-moving truck. The car accident puts Paige in a coma and when she woke up, she can no longer recall her husband and their marriage. Because of this, her husband, Leo, works to win her heart again.

The Vow is going to hit in movie theaters on February 10, 2012, just four days before Valentine’s Day. The romance drama film stars Rachel McAdams as Paige and Channing Tatum as her husband Leo. Other stars also included in the film are Scott Speedman, Jessica Lange and Sam Neill. Prepare to cry and fall in love as you watch this very touching movie.
