The More Mature Role of Daniel Radcliffe in The Woman in Black Movie

After his boyish and somewhat conservative role as a young actor in Harry Potter movie series, Daniel Radcliffe is once again back to take on the big screen but this time, in a more mature role as a lawyer. The Woman in Black is an upcoming horror film bound for release in movie theaters nationwide on February 3, 2012. In the film, Daniel Radcliffe stars as Arthur Kipps, the young lawyer who was sent to travel to a remote village in the South to organize the papers of his client who recently died. However, while trying to explore the house for him to find the necessary papers that he needed, he encounters the ghost of a scorned woman who is bound to seek revenge to those people who made her life miserable. As he works alone in the desolated house of his deceased client, Arthur Kipps discovered some of the most tragic events that happened in that house and his unease even grew more when he took a glimpse of a woman dressed in black staring blankly at him from over the window. Since he can’t get anything from the locals nearby, the young lawyer was forced to find out more about the mystery behind the woman’s identity. Find out what he has learned.

Distributed by CBS Films, The Woman in Black is written by Jane Goldman and it is under the directorial expertise of James Watkins. Other stars also included in the film aside from Radcliffe are Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerquiera, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley and many others.
